Kaffa Gimbo Washed

This washed Ethiopian heirloom lot comes from various smallholder farmers in Gimbo district, Kaffa Zone, home to Ethiopia’s last remaining wild coffee forests and believed to be where Coffea arabica first originated. Most coffee trees in Kaffa grow under indigenous large shade trees within natural ecosystems. These conditions promote slower cherry ripening and often result in more complex flavor development.

Expect delicate florals, bright lime acidity, and berry-like notes.
